Climate Change Across Life Stages An Educational Panorama in Duhok

Under the supervision of Dr. Alan Hama Saeed, Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the General Directorate of Education in Duhok, in partnership with the Department of School Activities and with the support of the Better World Organization (BWOCD), proudly presented “The Panorama of Environment in Life Stations” at Jziri Hall in Duhok.
This unique educational event was designed to highlight environmental and climate issues through different life stages, symbolically representing how climate change affects individuals and communities from childhood to adulthood. The panorama creatively showcased the realities of climate change and illustrated its social, environmental, and economic impacts on daily life.
Through interactive displays and thematic life stations, the event aimed to raise awareness among students, educators, and the wider community about the urgent challenges posed by climate change. It emphasized the responsibility of both present and future generations to take meaningful action in protecting natural resources and promoting sustainable practices.
By combining education, creativity, and community engagement, the initiative reinforced the importance of environmental awareness within the educational sector.
