About Better World Organization for Community Development (BWOCD)
Better World Organization for Community Development (BWOCD) is a women-led, non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2017 in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and officially registered in Baghdad in 2019.
BWOCD was established in response to the growing needs of women, girls, and youth affected by conflict, displacement, inequality, and social exclusion. Since its foundation, the organization has worked to create safe spaces, strengthen capacities, and support individuals and communities to move from vulnerability toward resilience, leadership, and meaningful participation in society.
